Sand filter system complete Classic 300/200 Swim

To keep the pool water fresh, it needs to be continuously circulated and cleaned. This compact filter system is complete and suitable for pools and garden pools up to 22,500 liters.

The filter system consists of a weather-resistant filter tank and a powerful self-priming pump, which is assembled on the included mounting platform. The pump is equipped with a pre-filter, which is an additional convenient measure when performing a backwash (reverse rinse, cleaning of the filter material). Clear instructions on the top valve make the system easy to handle, and the operating pressure in the tank can be quickly read on the integrated pressure gauge.

Accessories: UV light and bottom suction.

The pump of the filter system also allows for vacuuming the bottom of the pool with a bottom suction on a telescopic pole (art. 1513 and 1515). The bottom suction is connected to the system via the skimmer, either with a suction hose (art. 1525) or a standard pool hose (art. 1542).

Filter material

Filterballs or sand can be used as filter material.

Filterballs (Art. 1069): In addition to high filtration capacity (down to 10 microns), Filterballs are water-saving because there is no need to perform a backwash continuously. Instead, you can simply wash the Filterballs in the washing machine (without soap), or manually, when the season is over. Compared to other filter materials, Filterballs offer a minimum amount of water resistance, resulting in higher water flow. This means that the filter system can circulate all pool water faster, resulting in less energy consumption. Another great advantage is the low weight of Filterballs. This is good news for your back when the filter tank needs to be emptied. 100g of Filterballs is equivalent to 3.57 kg of sand.

Filtersand (Art. 1760): Sand is historically the most commonly used filter material. And with good reason. The natural material captures particles down to 40 microns. On the other hand, sand, especially wet sand, is very heavy. Therefore, it is recommended that the filter system be placed in the intended location before the sand is filled into the tank. Sand also requires regular backwashing (reverse rinsing) to clean the sand, at least 2-4 times per month. This means that more water is used when sand is chosen as the filter material. For a pool with 30-40,000 liters of water, between 180 and 240 liters of water are used per backwash/reverse rinse.

Powerful pump and large filter tank

The system comes with a powerful pump that is matched in capacity to the size of the filter tank and the pool volume specified in the specifications below. The pump must be powerful enough to circulate all pool water 5 times a day - through the filter material, that is. As a rule of thumb, the pumps cleaning capacity should be at least the pools water volume divided by 5. The pump can be used with saltwater.

Installation and hose connection

The system can be installed directly on all pools and basins with a standard pump outlet, and is compatible with standard hoses of Ø32/38 mm. Filter material and hoses for the pool are not included.
