Saddle bronc riding with cowboy Schleich Farm World 41416
In saddle bronc riding, a wild horse (also known as a bronc) is saddled. As soon as the cowboy or cowgirl sits on the horse and gives a signal, the starting gate to the arena opens. The horse bursts out, bucking wildly, and the rider can only hold onto one rein attached to the saddle with one hand. If they touch the horse with their other hand, they lose points. Just like in bull riding, the cowboy or cowgirl must stay on the horse for at least eight seconds. Its not just about time: the rider also earns extra points if the horse bucks strongly.
