1300 years after the events of How to Train Your Dragon, dragons are only a legend in the modern world. When a geological anomaly causes a gigantic fissure to open in the Earths surface, researchers from around the world gather at a new research center to investigate the mysterious phenomenon. A group of troubled youths, who have come to the center with their parents, soon discover the truth about dragons and their lair - a secret they must keep to protect their discovery.
The ICARIS Laboratory has been built for the purpose of studying the Kullersen Fissure. It is a gigantic fissure in the Earths surface, several kilometers deep. Here, researchers from around the world, including Dr. Olivia Kullersen, study the unusual phenomenon.
Access to the center is through two double doors. The research department is equipped with analysis equipment, computers, and a projection table for examining stone samples and inspecting drone images. The drone landing platform is located on the research centers roof, from which the large drone can be controlled. In the middle of the drones top is a built-in foot clamp, allowing a figure to fly standing up. Additionally, there is a cannon for launching a projectile built into the center of the drone.
