Its characteristics are its banana-like shape and two propellers rotating in opposite directions, which allowed for the elimination of the vertical rotor. All of its significant power is used for vertical lift. The helicopter can travel at speeds of up to 278 km/h. It was created for the transportation of soldiers and military equipment. It is a highly popular and effective design, associated with the US Army since the Vietnam War. To this day, the number of users of this helicopter around the world remains significant.
